Well. Now I know why I have been losing so badly whenever I play at home. This laptop's processing speed really runs on pentium 1/2 processor. Lousy hamster-powered computer gets tired easily and I always experience the Alt-Tab problem whenever there is a fierce battle going on. HAHA...Another thing was, if lirui had come, it would have been more fair. Then all the matches would have been 5 vs 5. Oh well...maybe we can have another of this matches some time in the future. However, I can safely say I was easily the lousiest player on my cousins' team. Only my first game as a skeleton king was decent. After all, King Leoric is still one of my favourite heroes. The other games were rubbish. I did nothing but farm while my cousins had to hold off a horde of attacks. HAHA, luckily they managed to survive most of the time.
After the lanning, I bid my friends farewell after a night of crazy lanning. I then proceeded to LJS with my cousins where we indulged in more never-thought-before DotA tactics. Haha, we talked more hours until LJS had to close. After that, we walked and talked at the dhoby ghaut MRT station till 1130 until xuatz had to go home. We talked about everything, our future, relationship stuff, xuatz's business stuff and of course...more never-before-thought of DotA strategies. (we can go on for hours just by talking about DotA )
After xuatz left, xy, rz and I left for the 24hours kopitiam to get some fillings. I had some prata just to fill my empty stomach as I did not have dinner. After supper, we proceeded to evene more lanning!!! We started again at he same lan shop at around 1210 and finished a few games by 2 plus. As usual, xy's zeus cleared the whole enemy team AGAIN...3 times in total, though his kills were not at all high ( about 18 kills and 0 deaths is low considering his prowess ) In fact, in the past few hours we have been playing, we did not lose a single match. When the clock struck 12. xuatz smsed me to wish both xy and rz a happy birthday. In actuality, xy's birthday was celebrated by one DotA lanning while rz's birthday was celebrated by another. HAHA. After we left the lan shop, we walked from e-games, all the way to takashimaya. We talked and walked and talked even more. Until all of us were nearly gonna fall asleep. Our night activity continued to 530 without sleep where I finally bid them farewell at City Hall MRT station. Our night of walking and talking really made us think of our futures and allowed us to know each other so much better. And of course, know even more DotA playing methods. xy knows how to use worldeditor , so he knows the exact mechanics of how the map works...which thus contributes to us, a valuable pool of ownage information.
Reached home at 630am. I was feeling dead tired after walking but after I reached home, everything was back to normal. I even felt like I did not need to sleep. In fact, I woke at 10. which means I only sleep less than 4 hours. Oh well...haha...the midnight games do help to lenghthen the night life of my brain. HAHA
Since I have already made a decision to stop playing DotA at home next year. Here is a tribute to Guinsoo, the maker of DotA: ALLSTARS , as well as IceFrog, for contributing so much in expanding the map. My life between my cousins and friends would not have been so without this custom map to form a bridge and talking point where we can go on for hours without stopping.
