Today, I did some self-training. I had in mind training tomorrow, thus I did not train very hard today. However, I did push myself to the limits. In 2 hours, I did 2.8km intervals as well as staircase climb intervals. First was the 2.8km warm-up. I took my time warming up, making sure my whole body was loose and not tight which is prone to cramps. Then, I stretched my leg muscles, making sure that they were properly stretched for the hard run I am going to unertake later. After my warm-up, I proceeded to do the staircase climb. I climbed 5 repetitions of 6 storeys, recovering when I reached the 6th storey and when I was coming down to the 1st. That makes 30 storeys in one set. After one set of the staircase climb, I did a 2.8km jog. All in all, I did 3 sets of the staircase climb as well as 3 sets of the 2.8km jog. Including warm-up, I ran a total of 11.2km and 90 storeys. So much for a light workout...haha
