After 1 week of toiling and labour from 18th to the 25th. Its finally over. Inter-house drama is finally over and PUMA house has clinched the top prize as well as the best actor and MOST POPULAR HOUSE. HAHA. Having said this, I can really feel that we have improved so much from when we first met. 18th of feb was unforgettable. Drama practice was from 730 to 5...And I missed the once in a year ACJC funfair...I really hope I didn't let my sec sch friends down...Hope they understand that I have a hectic schedule. HAHA Monday had training and dota practise and I still went for rehearsal...I think. Tuesday was quite a killer, practise until very late. Furthermore, we were constantly being bombarded by words that really demoralised us. Some people said that we were the lousiest house...with the smallest number of people taking part, so much so that the JC2s had to step in and fill up the gaps. Wednesday tech run was a nightmare...or rather a afternoonmare. If we just had our tech run earlier Jang, Wongci and I could have gone to turf city for training. Damn wasted, and I remember I was feeling damn pissed on that day. Farah was visibly disapppointed...I need not comment so much. Did some training to relieve myself, if not I will definitely explode. Pia in the gym till quite late. Coincidentally, I met kang seng at yck mrt when i was waiting for the train. HAHA, at least he knows I trained, cuz i was wearing my training vest. Thursday full dress rehearsal a bit the not full dress. Wongci had bridge and I got dota comp. !st round lub 31 : 15 we win. 2nd round tio lub 31 : 8...sian ji pua. But we did our best. I dun think anyone was disappointed la. Like what junjie said, 1st round shld be not much problem, 2nd round ah......shld be not much hope...EH!!!! HAHA...especially with a noob KOTL on my team...how to win. ( I am the noob KOTL...EH!!!!!!!!!!!) After dota comp, immediately went for drama full-dress rehearsal. Everyone was in quite high spirits, maybe its cuz the inter-house comp is just the next day. Wongci was more down on that day. Tried my best to talk to him to cheer him up. Many set-backs were faced before friday like unintentionally being racist. I dunno if we were indeed being racist. Deadlines had to be met and some people were having trouble with teachers and some ...even having trouble staying in AJC...Nevertheless, on the day itself. Everyone WAS feeling excited and hyped up. Pep talk before the competition was super good. Managed to calm my nerves a little. The King pulled off an awesome performance and so did the Queen. HAHA I hoped I pulled off a great one too. The vizier was very steady and really got into her role well. Though the physician had few lines, he could really get the crowd to feel nervous while anticipating the next line. What I did was the opposite....Pausing at times and speaking slowly like I always do. The madman and maid also played an integral part. Adding spice and sugar into the play. WHAT a week. Dota and DRAMA.....Managed to mix them though...HAHA
