Ah, the new year has finally come. 2007. Didn't really have a countdown party. I spent the last day of 2006 enclosed in a house in KL,watching the new year celebration in the heart of Taipei...What 'GREAT FUN!' To make matters worse, I was the only one watching. No one in the house was excited about the coming year or toasting each other to good health or tearing at each others' underwear...how BORING!! Maybe thats because most of the people in the houst have already experienced almost or more than 50 new years...lol. Well, I was the youngest in the house. =D
After the BORING new year 'celebration'. I went to sleep, and I dreamt of nothing...How BORING!! However, the next day was not a boring one. From morning till night, my dad and mum and I went to visit a friend of my dad. He brought us to an Arab restaurant for lunch where I experienced a new cuisine. Arab food tastes not bad. I tasted some never tasted before food whose name I never saw before and sadly, never remembered. However, Arab food focuses a lot on the appearance. I remember, in the menu, was a quotation in italics saying: The eye eats first. Man! The way the food was presented definitely required skill and practise. However, I wouldn't say it was top notch. After lunch (which was quite filling and satisfying) I stayed at uncle's house with his 3 children while the adults went to see uncle's new house.
I tried playing the PS2 games my host offered, but due to my utter laziness to find out how to play PS2 games, especially the more RPG ones, I just managed to get myself into a deepening slumber...while playing...YES!! WHILE PLAYING! What a lazy clown I am.After the adults came back, I was forced to play one and 1/8 songs to 'entertain' the host. There were mistakes everywhere!!! Bet my hosts would have felt sorry...for the piano...if they were listening!
Dinner was at a coffee shop with really good chinese food.Supposed to makan crabs, but in the end,all the crabs were booked beforehand to be makaned by other people later. AAWW...no crabs to makan. In the end, we still had some nice prawns, duck, some beancurd thingy that was my favourite and vegetables. The fish was quite nice too. Dinner was really filling and satisfying.
After chatting with the malaysians, I feel that Malaysia may not be so nice after all. I shall not elaborate too much on this...later I go jail, then cannot serve NS = sad :(
Just came back to singapore at around 4 today. I miss my friends already!!! I cannot wait to kick some balls (soccer) and play some games (dota). These few days, nothing really interesting happened. Maybe the new year will bring some interesting things worth blogging about.
P.S. Version 6.39 is out! go DL
